Bulgarian president takes oath of office for second term

SOFIA, BULGARIA --
Bulgarian President Rumen Radev has taken the oath of workplace for his second time period. Radev is the nation's fifth democratically elected president. He was sworn in Wednesday at a ceremony in parliament along with Vice President Iliana Yotova.


The 58-year-old former chief of the Bulgarian Air Drive overwhelmingly received a November election. Radev gained recognition as a vocal supporter of the months-long anti-graft protests final 12 months and by appointing caretaker governments that have been lively in investigating the corruption practices of their predecessors.
