Neil Younger, an outspoken advocate for COVID-19 security and prevention, would not need his music to share a house with vaccine misinformation.


In a now-deleted submit on his web site, Younger requested his managers and document label to take away his music from Spotify as a result of he stated the music and podcast platform is "spreading pretend details about vaccines -- probably inflicting loss of life to those that consider this disinformation unfold by them." (Rolling Stone initially reported the textual content of the deleted submit.)


"I need you to let Spotify know instantly TODAY that I need all my music off their platform," the 76-year-old stated in Monday's submit, in keeping with Rolling Stone. "They will have Rogan or Younger. Not each."


"Rogan" refers to Joe Rogan, the exceedingly controversial podcast host who has made frequent false and inaccurate claims surrounding vaccines and COVID-19.


Earlier this month, a bunch of greater than 250 scientists, medical doctors and nurses penned an open letter to Spotify condemning the streamer for platforming Rogan and calling on Spotify to warn its listeners about misinformation.
