Ottawa firefighters battle two early morning house fires


Ottawa firefighters battled a pair of home fires within the early morning hours of Thursday.


The fires broke out at houses on Aridus Crescent in Stittsville and Highpark Crescent in Blackburn Hamlet. Flames shot by way of the roof at each places, officers stated.


A second alarm was declared at each fires. No accidents have been reported, and there's no phrase on a attainable reason behind both blaze.


The hearth in Stittsville started simply earlier than 5:30 a.m. within the storage of the house, officers stated. The house was engulfed in flames when crews arrived a couple of minutes later, and firefighters began placing water on neighbouring houses as a result of danger of the fireplace spreading.
