  • The USA and its companions and allies are taking motion to deal with rising tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
  • The U.S. State Division licensed a voluntary departure of U.S. authorities officers from the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv out an "abundance of warning" because of Russia destabilization efforts in Ukraine.
  • The Ukraine International Minister known as this resolution "untimely and a manifestation of extreme warning."
  • The U.S. maintains a Stage 4 journey advisory for Ukraine because of "the elevated threats of great Russian navy motion towards Ukraine" and COVID-19.
  • NATO forces are on standby and extra ships and fighter jets have been deployed to its bases in Japanese Europe
  • U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with officers from Russia, Ukraine and NATO final week to debate the rising tensions. Blinken mentioned the U.S. is hoping to keep up a diplomatic dialogue with Russia and reiterated that a Russia invasion of Ukraine would end in "swift, extreme and united response."
