A big winter storm containing as much as 40 centimetres of snowfall in some areas has prompted quite a lot of Ontario faculty boards to shut faculties on Monday.

Halton Catholic District Faculty Board says all faculties are closed as we speak as a result of snowfall and all in-person and digital class is cancelled.

Peel Area
Pupil Transportation of Peel Area says all buses serving PDSB and DPCDSB faculties in zones 1, 2 and three should not working as we speak as a result of snowfall. DPCDSB and PDSB faculties are closed. DPCDSB college students will proceed with digital studying whereas all class is cancelled on the PDSB.
Hamilton-Wentwoth District Faculty Board: All in-person studying and childcare is cancelled as a result of snowfall. Distant studying can also be cancelled for the day.
Durham Area
All buses in all zones are cancelled as a result of inclement climate. The DDSB says elementary faculties might be closed with no on-line studying however secondary college students will pivot to distant studying. The DCDSB says all elementary faculties are closed and secondary college students will proceed with on-line studying.
