Former president Donald Trump has praised the Republican Nationwide Committee for censuring two GOP lawmakers for his or her participation on the committee investigating the lethal January 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol.

In an announcement on Saturday, Trump congratulated the RNC for the ruling and described Cheney and Kinzinger as "two horrible RINOs [Republicans In Name Only]."
