Ont. Superior Court to consider Canada-U.S. border protest injunction today

WINDSOR, ONT. --
An Ontario Superior Courtroom justice is ready to listen to an utility at the moment for an injunction that may bar protesters from blocking the Ambassador Bridge border crossing in Windsor, Ont.


The Automotive Elements Producers' Affiliation utilized for the injunction, and the Metropolis of Windsor was granted intervenor standing.


Geoffrey Morawetz adjourned proceedings yesterday, saying that whereas the matter was of nice financial consequence, a ruling outlawing the protests can be critical and the defendants needs to be given an opportunity to reply.


They're as a result of resume at midday.


The Ambassador Bridge connecting Windsor and Detroit is taken into account the busiest industrial land border crossing in North America.


The protest is one in all a number of demonstrations taking place within the nation over COVID-19 measures.
