An alleged shoplifter attacked a employee at a Duane Reade on Friday in New York Metropolis after he was caught stealing merchandise from a freezer and putting them in his bag.

The New York Police Division (NYPD) spokesperson informed Newsweek on Sunday that the person punched a 21-year-old retailer employee within the face after she confronted him and requested him to place again the gadgets he grabbed.
