The Toronto Zoo says one among its cheetahs has given delivery to a litter of cubs.


The zoo says Emarah, a 4 1/2-year-old cheetah and first-time mom, gave delivery early Monday morning after a 92-day being pregnant.


It says one cub did not survive however the remaining three look like doing nicely and have been nursing and wriggling round close to their mom.


The zoo says cheetah cubs are born with their eyes closed and it will likely be a couple of week earlier than they open them.


Within the meantime, the group says it is going to monitor Emarah and her cubs with cameras to be able to decrease disturbances and permit the animals to bond.


It says that except there may be trigger for concern, it will likely be just a few weeks earlier than the cubs get a full vet checkup.
