Musician Bobbie Nelson, a pianist, bandmate and the beloved sister of singer Willie Nelson, has died on the age of 91.
Nelson posted a heartfelt assertion about his sister's passing to his Instagram late Thursday.
"From The Nelson Household: Bobbie Nelson handed away this morning, peacefully and surrounded by household," the assertion learn. "Her class, grace, magnificence and expertise made this world a greater place. She was the primary member of Willie's band, as his pianist and singer. Our hearts are damaged and she or he shall be deeply missed. However we're so fortunate to have had her in our lives. Please preserve her household in your ideas and provides them the privateness they want at the moment."
Bobbie was a member of the Willie Nelson and Household band for greater than 50 years. Nelson and his sister have been very shut, they even launched a memoir collectively known as "Me and Sister Bobbie: True Tales of the Household Band," in 2020.
On the time Nelson informed Individuals journal, "She's my closest good friend for an entire lifetime. I am glad she's getting some recognition for what she's performed along with her life."
