Camel kills two people after escaping from a petting zoo in Tennessee

A camel escaped from a petting zoo and killed two folks in Tennessee Thursday, authorities stated.


Deputies acquired a name of a camel attacking folks close to Shirley Farms in Obion, the Obion County Sheriff's Workplace stated in an announcement. They arrived and located two unconscious folks and the camel nonetheless on the unfastened.


The boys, Bobby Matheny, 42, and Tommy Gunn, 67, had been pronounced lifeless on the scene.


It is not clear whether or not they labored on the petting zoo or what kind of camel was concerned within the assault.


The camel attacked a sheriff's workplace automobile as authorities tried to render help to the victims. For the security of all on the scene, officers needed to euthanize the camel.


Alan Shirley, who owns Shirley Farms, requested CNN for time to grieve and stated they weren't making any statements presently.
