MARSEILLE, FRANCE --
A French man with a knife injured three law enforcement officials within the southern metropolis of Marseille on Saturday, and was killed by police after repeatedly ignoring warning photographs, authorities stated.


The explanation for the assault was unclear.


Inside Minister Gerald Darmanin described a "violent assault with a knife" and stated police have been capable of "neutralize the sufferer and keep away from the worst."
