Rainforests are resilient, but it may be too late for the Amazon

The final two months featured the most deforestation on document for the Amazon, which helps clarify why it could be nearer than ever to shedding its standing as a rainforest.


However whereas one new research suggests hassle on the horizon for the Amazon, one other finds that rainforests can get well from even massive disturbances so long as we go away them alone.
