A recall has been introduced for Inari model Natural Blue Poppy Seeds from Puresource Pure Merchandise resulting from a doable salmonella contamination.


The recall covers 250 gram packages with expiration dates of January 2023, October 2020 and October 2024.


The recalled poppy seeds have been offered British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia, and should have been distributed in different provinces and territories.


The Canadian Meals Inspection Company says there have been no experiences of sickness related to the merchandise.


Prospects are being advised to both throw the product out, or return it to the place of buy.


Salmonella poisoning may end up in a variety of signs, from short-term fever, headache and nausea to extra critical points together with extreme arthritis and, in uncommon circumstances, even loss of life.
