Republican Consultant Marjorie Taylor Greene has appeared to flip flop on whether or not or not she beforehand known as Home Speaker Nancy Pelosi a "traitor."
On Friday, Greene appeared throughout a listening to to testify about her alleged involvement within the January 6 riots. A gaggle of Georgia voters just lately filed a criticism with the state claiming that she doesn't meet constitutional necessities to run for reelection following accusations she performed a task within the riots.
Through the listening to, Greene was requested about her previous feedback made about Pelosi, and if she known as her a "traitor" to the nation.
"Did you say, referring to speaker Pelosi, 'She's a traitor to our nation. She's responsible of treason. She took an oath to guard the Americans. She provides help and luxury to our enemies who illegally invade our land,'" Greene was requested by lawyer Ron Fein, who's representing the group of Georgia voters who challenged Greene's eligibility to run for reelection.
In response, Greene mentioned, "I mentioned…that is what I used to be telling you is [Pelosi] does not uphold our legal guidelines."
When requested once more if she known as Pelosi a "traitor," Greene mentioned, "In response to this CNN article I did, I do not keep in mind…I do not recall saying all of this, however I do recall having mentioned this about 'I completely disagree with the border points.'"
