Authorities arrested a second suspect Tuesday in reference to Sunday's mass capturing within the downtown space of Sacramento, California, that left six folks lifeless and 12 injured.

Smiley Martin, 27, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited individual and possession of a machine gun. Martin suffered critical accidents within the capturing and is being handled in a hospital. As soon as he's launched, he shall be booked on the Sacramento County Predominant Jail, the Sacramento police stated in an announcement.

Police say he's the brother of Dandrae Martin, 26, who was arrested Monday in reference to the capturing. He was charged with assault with a firearm and for being a prohibited individual in possession of a firearm.

The capturing started round 2 a.m. Sunday close to tenth and Ok streets as folks from close by eating places and bars stuffed the streets. Upon arrival, officers discovered a big group and a number of gunshot victims. Six folks died on the scene.
