Ukrainian girl who sang 'Let it go' in bunker performs national anthem in Poland


Two weeks in the past, seven-year-old Amellia Anisovych was hiding in a bomb shelter in Kyiv, Ukraine, singing “Let it go” from Disney’s Frozen. On Sunday, she was protected in Poland, singing as soon as once more, this time in an enviornment in entrance of 1000's of individuals for a charity live performance in help of Ukraine.


Amellia, whose heartfelt rendition of the Disney track -- about energy and defiance -- within the bunker was seen and heard by hundreds of thousands around the globe, was requested to sing the Ukrainian nationwide anthem at Atlas Enviornment in Lodz, Poland.


1000's of mobile phone lights lit the sector in solidarity as she sang, “The glory and freedom of Ukraine has not but perished.”


The little woman informed the BBC that she practiced each day “morning, afternoon and night,” and that singing was all the time her dream.


Pressured to flee her dwelling, she is now in Poland along with her grandmother and siblings, away from the bombing and shelling that continues relentlessly.


Over the weekend, a buying centre in Kyiv was attacked, killing at the very least eight folks and forsaking wreckage that unfold over a whole lot of metres. Her mother and father stayed behind in Kyiv to battle.


For the hundreds of thousands who heard her sing within the bomb shelter, Amellia has come to represent the extraordinary resilience of the youngsters of Ukraine.
