Outstanding underwater footage exhibits the second a shark hurtles towards a diver and begins munching away at his catch.

The clip was filmed at a depth of 23 ft within the waters off Porto de Santo Antonio Noronha within the paradisiacal Fernando de Noronha archipelago 220 miles from Brazil.

The video filmed on Could 4 exhibits artisanal fisherman Felipe Rogerio "battling" with a shark over his catch of fish under the water's floor.

Rafael Mesquita Ferreira, who filmed the footage, instructed Zenger Information: "The sharpnose shark appeared, attracted by the odor, and attacked the road of fish 3 times, taking two coneys and attempting to chunk a squirrelfish, however it has a whole lot of thorns, so it wasn't capable of.

"The fishermen concerned are approved for any such fishing in Noronha and it's forbidden to attempt to stop the shark from approaching the fish.

"The sharpnose shark appeared throughout fishing and I used to be following, capturing the photographs.

"The shark appeared and took two fish from the road and we did not do something as a result of they're protected animals on the island and we can't intrude with their habits.

"I took benefit of the scenario to file the shark's actions!

"In addition to this one, there have been different sharks of the nurse shark species."

Nego, whose actual title is Erivaldo Alves da Silva, added: "I assumed it was humorous, it was a medium-sized shark.

"It tried to swallow a much bigger fish and could not, it did not slot in his mouth. My pal and I laughed so much, it was very humorous."

The Brazilian sharpnose shark is, happily for the divers, comparatively small in comparison with most sharks, and when absolutely grown will hardly ever be bigger than round 2 1/2 ft.
