Sections of Glenmore Path and Heritage Drive within the metropolis's southeast are anticipated to stay closed into Wednesday morning after a rubbish truck hit the Graves Bridge from under.
The next closures had been put in place within the space of Glenmore Path and Heritage Drive at round 4:30 a.m. Tuesday:
Closure of the northernmost lane of westbound Glenmore Path on the Graves Bridge over the Bow River
Closure of the southernmost lane of eastbound Glenmore Path on the Graves Bridge over the Bow River
No entry to westbound Glenmore Path from eastbound Heritage Drive
No entry to westbound Heritage Drive from westbound Glenmore Path
No entry under the Graves Bridge (connection to northbound Deerfoot Path)
Heritage Drive closed between thirteenth Avenue and Glendeer Circle S.E.
The closures are anticipated to stay in place for no less than 24 hours from the time of the crash to permit crews to evaluate the structural integrity of the bridge and decide whether or not repairs are required.
