Major thoroughfare in Barrie to close for road construction


Motorists are urged to pack their persistence and count on delays as building ramps up on a significant thoroughfare in Barrie.


Crews have resumed work alongside Massive Bay Level Highway within the metropolis's south-end as a part of the Metropolis of Barrie's Multi-Modal Energetic Transportation Grasp Plan, which began final August.


"The present street was a two-lane street. It is at the moment being widened to 5 lanes," says Aaron Toth, an engineering challenge supervisor with the Metropolis of Barrie.
