Man charged with murder in May 19 homicide, Saskatoon police say


Saskatoon police have arrested a 35-year-old man in connection to the Could 19 murder of 29-year-old Brandon Baxandall.


The suspect is charged with first-degree homicide and is about to seem in court docket Tuesday.


Police say on Could 19 they acquired a report of an injured man on the 100 block of Important Avenue East.


Shortly after, police acquired calls about pictures being fired on the 700 block of Melrose Avenue. When officers arrived, they positioned one other man useless behind an condo constructing.


A second injured man was transported to Saskatoon Metropolis Hospital.


Police say the investigation is ongoing and anybody with video proof or related data is requested to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
