Missing man found dead after vehicle abandoned in a water-filled field


A lacking man whose automobile was found deserted in a water-filled area in Southern Manitoba has been discovered useless.


RCMP confirmed Search and Rescue had discovered 72-year-old Leo Cyr useless on Friday afternoon. RCMP stated his dying doesn't seem like suspicious.


Cyr, who was from Giroux, Man., was final seen on Thursday round 8 p.m. driving his automobile on Freeway 59 close to Dunning Street East.


"Household attended his residence final evening to examine on him, however he was not residence and his automobile was gone," RCMP stated in a information launch.


Round 7:25 a.m. on Friday, RCMP received a report that a automobile was caught in a water-filled area close to Freeway 75 between St. Adolphe and St. Agathe. Officers who responded confirmed the automobile, which was discovered deserted, belonged to Cyr.
