Montreal police searching for man reported missing in St. Lawrence River


Montreal law enforcement officials are amongst search and rescue groups patrolling a stretch of the St. Lawrence river following stories that a man might have fallen in. 


Firefighters, the coast guard and police nautical squad deployed personnel on the lookout for what witnesses have described as a person in his thirties who was having bother staying afloat within the water. 


The 911 name got here in at round 4 p.m., in keeping with police.


The caller reported an individual was in peril within the water close to the Jacques-Cartier Pier, close to the Ferris Wheel, in Montreal's Previous Port. 


Little is thought relating to what occurred to the person. Police known as off their search at round 9:30 p.m. with out discovering him.
