RCMP searching for suspect after victim sexually assaulted during break-and-enter

Surrey, B.C. -


Police in Surrey are in search of a suspect following an alleged sexual assault at a house within the Saint Helen's Park neighbourhood.


Officers had been referred to as to the 12900 block of 101A Avenue at about 6:40 a.m. Saturday for a report of a break-and-enter.


Police say the girl who lived within the dwelling reported she had been sexually assaulted by an unknown male suspect.


The sufferer was taken to hospital to be handled for non-life-threatening accidents.


The suspect is described as a person in his mid 30s with mild colored pores and skin, roughly 5'6“ tall, carrying darkish colored clothes.


The Particular Victims Unit has taken management of the investigation and is asking anybody with data to please contact police.
