'Don't be a fawn-napper': Conservation officers warn public not to move 'abandoned' baby deer


The BC Conservation Officer Service is reminding the general public to not disturb child deer seen alone exterior.


"They're very probably not deserted," the BCCOS stated in a Fb publish Saturday.


The service stated it receives calls yearly from "well-intentioned folks making an attempt to 'rescue' fawns they consider are orphaned." Sadly, interfering in such conditions may cause extra hurt than good.
