Halifax police seek suspect after man badly injured in stabbing


Police are searching for a suspect after a person was stabbed in Halifax early Tuesday morning.


Halifax Regional Police responded to the 2000-3000 block of Gottingen Road earlier than 3 a.m.


Police discovered a person who had been stabbed on the scene. The 34-year-old man was taken to hospital with critical, however non-life-threatening accidents.


No arrests have been made, however investigators don’t consider the stabbing was a random incident, and say there isn't a menace to public security.
