Hollywood star Johnny Depp, awaiting a ruling in a U.S. defamation case involving his ex-wife and actor Amber Heard, turned up on stage at a rock live performance within the northern English metropolis of Sheffield on Sunday, shocking an unsuspecting crowd.
Depp appeared with English guitarist Jeff Beck to carry out a sequence of music covers, together with John Lennon’s "Isolation," a monitor they collaborated on and launched in 2020.
Jurors in Virginia deliberating the defamation claims from each "Pirates of the Caribbean" star Depp and Heard adjourned on Friday with out returning a verdict.
They may resume discussions on Tuesday after the U.S. Memorial Day vacation.
Depp, 58, sued ex-wife Heard for US$50 million and argued that she defamed him when she referred to as herself "a public determine representing home abuse" in an opinion piece she wrote.
Heard, 36, countersued for $100 million, saying Depp smeared her repute when his lawyer referred to as her accusations a "hoax."
Depp followers took to Instagram and Twitter to share their views of the American actor's efficiency on stage.
"Johnny is an absolute mad man ... leaves courtroom Friday .. taking part in a gig in Sheffield UK Sunday.. with Jeff Beck..thoughts blown," Twitter consumer @OneloveEarth stated.
On Instagram, @flokpedals wrote: "Wasn’t anticipating this… I believed he was in courtroom however seems he’s in Sheffield with Jeff Beck."
