Kyle Rittenhouse, who had introduced Friday that he could be attending Texas A&M College, took to social media on Monday to declare he has enrolled in a group faculty.

His put up to Twitter got here after Texas A&M launched an announcement after his declaration, saying Rittenhouse was not enrolled on the faculty for the summer time or fall semester.

"He has not been admitted as a scholar this summer time or fall," Kelly Brown, affiliate vp of promoting and communications with Texas A&M, advised The Dallas Morning Information.

Rittenhouse's tweet on Monday stated he expects to attend Texas A&M in 2023.

A spokesman for Blinn Faculty District confirmed Rittenhouse has taken steps to attend the varsity, which describes itself as a "premier two-year faculty in Texas," that "ranks among the many nation's leaders at transferring college students to prime four-year universities," on its web site.

"Kyle Rittenhouse has utilized however not but enrolled for any lessons," Richard Bray, director of communications, media relations and advertising and marketing for Blinn, advised Newsweek in an e mail.

Bray stated the varsity has an "open enrollment coverage."

"Most college students will likely be accepted and eligible to register for lessons as soon as they submit all required admissions paperwork," in response to the varsity. After weeks of insinuating on social media that he was interested by Texas A&M, Rittenhouse introduced on The Charlie Kirk Present on Friday that he could be attending the college.

"So I will be going there. It will be superior," Rittenhouse advised Kirk. "Lovely campus, superb individuals, superb meals."

Rittenhouse, who went on trial in November, made an announcement at the moment that he was enrolled at Arizona State College and taking on-line lessons, in response to Fox 7 in Austin, Texas. However ASU officers later stated he was not enrolled there and defined the state of affairs in an announcement.
