The principal of a French Catholic highschool in Orleans is leaving the varsity this week, two weeks after college students stated a gown code enforcement "blitz" left them feeling degraded and humiliated.
In a letter to folks and guardians of Béatrice-Desloges Catholic Excessive Faculty, the Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est stated Marie-Claude Veilleux will not be principal of the varsity and is now the director of Studying Assist Providers with the board.
"I want to sincerely thank Marie-Claude Vellieux for her nice dedication in the course of the three years she spent as principal of Béatrice-Desloges Catholic secondary college," Superintendent of Training Jason Dupuis stated within the letter.
