Cops on hunt for alleged arsonist in city's west end

Toronto Police are looking for a female who allegedly set several fires early Saturday in the city’s west end.

On Saturday at 12:30 a.m., police were called to the Weston Rd.-Sykes Ave. area for a fire.

Police say a woman set fire to four separate vehicles on Weston Rd. near Victoria Ave. and then set something on fire on a porch of a house on Sykes Ave resulting in the house being engulfed in flames.

She is then blamed for setting garbage on fire out front of 1551 Weston Rd.

There were no injuries.

The woman is described as having light black skin, short hair, and at the time was wearing a long jacket, sandals, a scarf, and carrying a tote bag.
