A kitten in Tennessee took the Pepsi challenge to a whole other level.
Firefighters were called to a Walmart in Morristown, Tenn., to help a kitten stuck in a vending machine.
A Facebook post from the City of Morriston shared how the adorable feline found itself stuck between a rock and a hard place (that would be a can and a can) in the store’s outdoor Pepsi machine.
An employee called 911 about a cat in distress.
When firefighters arrived, “crews could hear the kitten crying,” according to the post.
After unplugging the machine and removing the rear cover, rescuers still couldn’t spot the kitten.
But once they discovered another opening in the machine, they managed to coax the kitten out.
“Fire crews joked about naming it Pepsi,” said the post.
One person suggested another option: “‘Mountain Mew’ would be a good name too,” while another chimed in with “Meowtain Dew.”
The employee, who called firefighters, posted that she now has a new kitten.
