Got a cool $34 mill hanging around?
Well, Royal LePage has the Toronto apartment — the most expensive in the city currently — for you.
The realtor has listed 1 Bloor St. W., a brand new, 79th floor, 5-bedroom, 7-bathroom, 8,752-square-foot apartment, at $34.7 million. It is currently under construction.
In its listing, the condo is described as a “serene full-floor residence, “ with “sleek interiors of marble and wood,’ and “opulent metallic tones,” with “sunlight from every angle.”
Toronto realtor Richard Foltys of Emmanuel Homes, who provides real estate market reports, added it can be made to order.
“That is a rendering,” said Foltys, of the photos that accompany the listing.
“(The buyer) can take a whole floor and design it however they want. You can even have your own private pool now, your own private elevators, private roof gardens,” he said.
Foltys said the development — expected to be at least 85 floors — is going to be one of Canada’s tallest towers.
“(The price) says that there are always people willing to buy commodities like places to live and Toronto is at the epicentre of world business and people are looking to live their dream,” he said. “Even though the market is cooling a little bit, there still is going to be action for the luxury goods.”
