Durham Regional Police have released images in their search for the firebugs who targeted an Oshawa boxing academy in January, causing $100,000 in damage.
On Jan. 12 around 8:55 p.m., emergency services were called to Speak Easy Boxing and Training Academy on Bloor St. W. for a fire, which was quickly put out.
The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office was involved and based on evidence from the scene, arson was determined.
Investigators say there are at least two suspects.
The wanted pair were associated to a black Mercedes Sprinter van, which is a 2019-21 model year and possibly a diesel model.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 905-579-1520 ext. 2732, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
