Halton Regional Police claim a group of thieves used small children to help facilitate a robbery at a Home Depot.
On June 23, police say a man and three women, with four children, entered the store at 2555 Bristol Circle in Oakville, at about 6:21 p.m. and went straight to the electrical department.
Cops say the adults loaded two shopping carts with electrical wire, two fans and two water bottles — valued at over $3,200 — and then hid the property with kid’s blankets, the kids and bags before leaving the store without paying.
The male suspect is in his 40s, 5-foot-10, with a heavy build, short black hair, a beard and moustache and at the time was wearing a blue, white and grey striped golf shirt, blue shorts, red sneakers, and he has a tattoo on right forearm.
The first female suspect is in her 40s, 4-foot-10, with a heavy build and brown hair in a bun and she was wearing a blue and white striped T-shirt, cammo tights, sandals and a brown shoulder strap purse.
The second female suspect is in her 30s, 5-foot-10, with an average build and long dirty blonde hair and she was wearing a white t-shirt with Reebok across front, a knee length jean skirt, blue slip on shoes, and a white shoulder strap purse with flower pattern.
The final suspect is a female, in her 30s, 5-foot-7 with a heavy build and long black hair. She was wearing a black tank top with white Reebok word and symbol on front, black pants with two white stripes down the sides and black slip on shoes.
Police say the suspect vehicle is a 2007 Pontiac minivan that is gold and brown in colour and the Ontario licence plate CVKS224.
