A pedestrian was killed while standing on the corner of a street in Scarborough on Thursday afternoon.
Toronto Police were called at 3:10 p.m. to the collision scene at Warden Ave. and Comstock Rd.
Police say a 38-year-old man was at the southwest corner of the intersection when a red 2012 Lexus travelling northbound on Warden attempted to make a left turn onto Comstock.
At the same time, a silver 2009 Kia southbound on Warden entered the intersection and hit the Lexus.
The Kia then lost control and hit the pedestrian. The man was taken to hospital, where he later died.
There was no immediate word on any charges.
Police are asking anyone who may have security or dash camera footage of this incident to contact them at 416-808-1900 or call Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
