Three arrested after shots heard at Dundas and Parliament

Three people were arrested early Sunday morning after reports of gunfire in the area of Parliament and Dundas Streets.

Officers were called to the area around 7:50 a.m. where they found a suspect vehicle, made the arrests and allegedly recovered a firearm in the vehicle.

Toronto Police Const. Laura Brabant says police were still looking for evidence of an actual shooting.

“Nobody was injured and I don’t think we can find any evidence of gunfire,” said Brabant. “Usually we find shell casings but we couldn’t find any. It’s such a big area so I think officers are still searching the area. There was information that a vehicle fled the area and officers were able to find a vehicle and stop it. “
