A 29-year-old woman has now been charged in connection with a deadly shooting in the Upper Beaches two weeks ago.
Toronto police say the victim — Megan Elizabeth Crant, a 32-year-old mom — was found shot to death in an alley near Gerrard St. E. and Woodbine Ave. just after 8 p.m. on July 7.
Investigators subsequently issued arrest warrants for two suspects in the city’s 35th murder of the year.
Nicholas Hirsch, 26, of Toronto, was arrested on July 9 and charged with first-degree murder.
And on Friday, Chelsey Mais, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
