Toronto Police are working to identify a woman who was pronounced dead after her body was pulled from Lake Ontario in south Etobicoke.
Police say reports of a body in the water by Marie Curtis Park in the city’s west end came in Saturday morning.
Medics attempted life-saving measures after the woman was pulled from the water.
Police say she was later pronounced dead at the scene.
A coroner’s investigation is underway.
Police say they are trying to identify the woman and are asking people with information to contact them.
