A 28-year-old man has been arrested for a deadly shooting four months ago at a North York mall.
Toronto police say officers responded to a shooting call at Sheridan Mall — near Jane St. and Wilson Ave. – around 8:30 p.m. on May 9.
A man was found suffering from a gunshot wound and paramedics tried to revive him but he died at the scene.
The victim was later identified as Calvin Andre Scott, 32, of Toronto.
At the time, police said the gunman carjacked a black Toyota Corolla and drove off.
Homicide investigators identified a suspect and a man was taken into custody on Tuesday.
Nashon Marshall, of Toronto, is charged with second-degree murder and robbery while armed with a firearm.
“He has also been charged with outstanding warrants from prior investigations,” police said in a statement released Wednesday.
