Peel Regional Police officers are investigating after two men were shot at a Mississauga club parking lot early Sunday.
Police said the shootings took place in the parking lot of HER Adult Entertainment Club, at Eglinton Ave. E. and Dixie Rd. around 3 a.m.
When the victims were located in a vehicle at Hurontario St. and Robert Speck Pkwy., one man was rushed to a hospital in critical condition while the other received treatment at the scene.
In mid-August, police issued a public safety alert about heightened risks associated with going to HER and the areas immediately surrounding 1325 Eglinton Ave. E.
Since Jan. 1, 2021, officers say they have responded to more than two dozen incidents in, and around, HER, and seized six firearms and investigated four separate shooting incidents.
