Weinstein calls rotten teeth 'an emergency' as he seeks dentist visit

Disgraced film mogul Harvey Weinstein is rotting in jail — and so are his teeth.

Weinstein says the situation has gotten so bad that it is a dental “emergency” and he needs to get his teeth fixed by a private dentist because the prison dentists will just yank out the teeth, according to the New York Post.

“This situation is an emergency,” Weinstein told a judge after being wheeled into a Los Angeles courtroom Wednesday. “I will pay for the dentist … it will be one trip and one trip only.”

L.A. Superior Court Judge Lisa Lench noted Weinstein had visited the medical bay at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility — where he’s jailed pending an Oct. 10 trial on charges he sexually assaulted five women between 2004 and 2013 — twice, but has not resolved his issues, the Post reported.

Weinstein’s lawyer Mark Werksman said jail dentists offered him two choices: pull the teeth without replacement or leave them to continue decaying.

Weinsteen, 70, is serving 23 years already but says he needs a bridge or fake teeth to fill gaps to look “presentable” at trial for his latest charge.

“I’m in pain every day. I have cavities and I can’t eat because I’m missing teeth,” Weinstein said.
