York Regional Police are looking for witnesses following a suspicious death in Newmarket.
On Friday, at 1:30 a.m., police were called to a home in the area of Prospect St. and Gorham St. for a report of an injured person.
Aa 22-year-old woman was located and taken to hospital, where she died.
The cause of death hasn’t been confirmed and the investigation is ongoing.
Police are asking anyone in the area with video surveillance or dashcam footage to come forward.
