Prince Andrew’s cousin claims that by name-dropping the duke and former U.S. President Bill Clinton during her explosive TV interview, Ghislaine Maxwell is showing she still holds all the cards.
The 60-year-old socialite turned convicted sex trafficker now serving a 20-year sentence in a federal prison in Florida was “self-serving” to the extreme, Christina Oxenberg told U.K’s The Sun.
In the interviews, part of an upcoming documentary, Maxwell called Andrew her “dear friend” and said “I feel so bad for him.”

The prince has denied any wrongdoing despite paying out a whopping $20 million to former Jeffrey Epstein sex slave, Virginia Roberts, who claimed she had underage sex with Andrew on several occasions.
“They are pretending that they’re on his side and they’re helping him and they’re working with him. They’re not at all, this is entirely self-serving,” Oxenberg, second cousin to Andrew, told the British tabloid.

“He doesn’t need any more help from Ghislaine. Here they are saying, ‘We’re gonna prove that the photograph is not real.’ It doesn’t really matter anymore. He’s already paid the money.”
Prince Andrew has long maintained that the snapshot of himself, Maxwell and Roberts is bogus. The FBI and other experts have said it’s the real deal.
“This is her way of pretending she’s helping him, and he’s buying it,” Oxenberg said. “She says there are 50 points wrong with the photograph, that’s how liars speak.
“A truthful person would say, ‘The three of us were never in that house. So it’s impossible.’ And she never goes anywhere near that. She’s like, ‘No, look at the shadow on his hand.'”

Oxenberg added: “She really destroyed the last year of the Queen’s life, making Her Majesty worry about Andrew and the shenanigans and that’s all on Maxwell, she caused all of that distress. And her only motivation is to save herself, meanwhile taking everyone down with her on the way.”
However, she believes that Andrew did have sex with Virginia but was in the dark about Maxwell and Epstein’s nefarious sex-trafficking ring.
Oxenberg believes things would have gone better for the disgraced prince if he had just come out and apologized.
“The best thing he could do is have the courage to come out and admit he was used by her,” she told the tabloid. “And then he would be free of her. Let her rot in jail and forget about her. And he could start his road to redemption.”
As for the name-checking, the duke’s cousin says Maxwell knows where the bodies are buried in the whole sickening Epstein apparatus.
“She is reminding them who is boss,” Oxenberg said.
“She’s sinister and creepy, she’s evil and I won’t drop that stance. She has no remorse.”
