NFL journeyman Antonio Dennard frequently invoked God in his Twitter missives.
The former New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars and Green Bay Packers cornerback’s social media feed also invoked a slew of feel-good proverbs.
That positive attitude did not save the 32-year-old one-time grid star.
In the early morning hours of Oct. 16, outside the Legends Bar and Restaurant in Reading, Penn., the Chicago native was shot and later died in hospital.
Cops say they now are seeking a suspect — Jose Daniel Pizarro, 24 — in the senseless slaying.

“Mr. Pizzaro has been charged with first-degree murder, third-degree murder, aggravated assault, related charges, including persons not to possess a firearm,” Berks County District Attorney John Adams said, via WFMZ-TV.
According to the Reading Eagle, Pizarro was on parole for an earlier robbery conviction. He is barred from carrying firearms, the DA said.
Officials said that they were able to identify Pizarro as the alleged triggerman because of a “handprint or a latent fingerprint” on the ex-NFL player’s car that was found outside the bar.
Pizarro and Dennard allegedly became embroiled in an argument inside the watering hole, cops said. The trash talk escalated and the two men took it outside.
The Giants reportedly waived Dennard — who grew up in Berks County — in May 2013.
