Chicago teens carried out 13 armed robberies in five hours: Cops

A group of Windy City teenagers were quite busy on Monday.

Police say the teenagers carried out a stunning 13 armed robberies across the city within five hours.

The Chicago Police Department said the teens exited a vehicle and approached victims on foot while displaying firearms. The victims were robbed and the suspects fled to an awaiting vehicle, police said.

The incidents occurred between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. Monday. The suspects were described as four Black males in their late teens, according to FOX.

The report said they were carrying semiautomatic weapons that were silver and black.

They also covered their faces with “surgical-type masks,” according to police.

Police said at least six people were murdered in Chicago last weekend and there were 24 reported shooting incidents.
