Bills vs. Bengals: FrontPageBets looks at best bets for Monday Night Football

Bills Bears Football

Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills are 1-point favorites over the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night.

Two weeks before the postseason begins, this week’s Monday night game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals has a definite playoff feel.

Both teams are securely in the NFL playoffs, but are jockeying for seed and position.

The Bills (12-3) currently are the No. 1 seed in the AFC, holding the tie-breaker over the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bengals (11-4) are still in the hunt for the AFC North division title.

And if that’s not enough, this game features two of the best quarterbacks in the entire league: Josh Allen, who has led the Bills to six wins in a row; and Joe Burrow, who his piloted the Bengals to seven consecutive victories.

Currently, Buffalo is a 1-point favorite on the road, but this one is essentially a pick-em.

The Bills are 7-7-1 against the spread, while the Bengals are 12-3 ATS, which is the best in the NFL.

FrontPageBets takes a look at three best bets for this Monday Night Football matchup.

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings and subject to change)

Buffalo QB Josh Allen over 251.5 passing yards (-120)

Allen is sixth in the NFL in passing, throwing for 4,029 yards in 15 games this season. He’s third in touchdown passes with 32, and his quarterback rating of 70.5 is second in the league.

He’s averaging 268.6 passing yards per game, which is seventh. On the road, Allen is averaging 261.5 yards.

The Bengals defense is giving up almost 226 passing yards each time out.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow over 13.5 rushing yards (-115)

While Burrow is second in the NFL in passing yards (4,260), second in touchdown passes (34) and eight in QBR (61.3), he also can make things happen when needed with his legs.

For the season, he’s rushed for 247 yards, which is about 16.5 yards per game. He’s also scored five touchdowns.

Burrow is at his best when the pressure is the highest. If he can’t get it done with his arm, he’ll put his head down and run for it.

Kind of like the quarterback he’s facing Monday night.

Bills RB Devin Singletary over 10.5 receiving yards (-115)

Buffalo running back Devin Singletary has 37 catches this season for 277 yards, which is about 7.5 yards per catch. He’s averaging about 5.5 targets per game.

While he’s not the biggest out-of-the-backfield passing threat for the Bills, Singletary is elusive enough to gain yards after the catch. In Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins he had nine catches on 11 targets for 78 yards and a touchdown – all season highs.

In the last two games, Singletary has averaged 23.5 receiving yards per game on a combined five catches.
