The best and the worst of fantasy football in NFL Week 18.
STUDS
Davis Mills, QB, HOU
298 passing yards, 3 passing TDs, 2 INTs, 6 rushing yards, 1 two-point convert, 24.5 points.
Had one of the best games of his career as the Texans relinquished their shot at the first overall pick.
Nick Chubb, RB, CLE
77 rushing yards, 45 receiving yards, 1 TD, 20.7 points.
Chubb’s five receptions this week were the most he had in a game since 2021.
Zack Moss, RB, IND
114 rushing yards, 1 TD, 7 receiving yards, 19.6 points.
The Colts look like they’ve found a decent complement to Jonathan Taylor for next year.
Keenan Allen, WR, LAC
102 receiving yards, 2 TDs, 26.2 points.
Performed up to his high standard, but why was he being risked in a meaningless game?
DeVante Parker, WR, NE
79 receiving yards, 2 TDs, 22.9 points.
Had a season-high six catches as the Patriots’ playoff bid fell short against the superior Bills.
Jordan Akins, TE, HOU
70 receiving yards, 2 TDs, 1 two-point convert, 23 points.
Scored a TD on fourth and 20 and then the two-point convert to win it for Houston.
Cincinnati Bengals DEF
16 points allowed, 4 sacks, 2 INTs, 2 fumbles recovered, 1 TD, 19 points.
Didn’t have much trouble with Ravens undrafted rookie QB Anthony Brown.
Jake Elliott, K, PHI
5 FGs made, 199 FG yards, 1 PAT, 20.9 points.
DUDS
Joe Burrow, QB, CIN
215 passing yards, 1 passing TD, 10 rushing yards, 11.6 points.
Got the win this week, but will likely have to be sharper in the playoffs.
Jalen Hurts, QB, PHI
229 passing yards, 1 INT, 7 receiving yards, 9.4 points.
Returned from his shoulder injury to help the Eagles get the top seed, but had struggles.
Travis Etienne Jr., RB, JAC
17 rushing yards, 17 receiving yards, 4.4 points.
The Titans did a great job of shutting down the sophomore for the second time this season.
Ezekiel Elliott, RB, DAL
10 rushing yards, 1 point.
Led the Cowboys in carries with eight, but nobody on Dallas’ offence did much.
Tyreek Hill, WR, MIA
23 receiving yards, 3.3 points.
Rolled his ankle but came back to play through it, but had little impact.
Tee Higgins, WR, CIN
7 receiving yards, 1.2 points.
Could only come up with one catch on his seven targets.
DJ Moore, WR, CAR
10 receiving yards, 1.5 points.
The Panthers completed just five passes in the game, with one going to Moore.
Curtis Samuel, WR, WAS
-4 rushing yards, -2 receiving yards, -0.1 points.
It’s incredibly hard to get less than zero without turning the ball over.
I HOPE YOU STARTED
After his 1,000-yard, nine-TD season last year, Hunter Renfrow turned out to be one of the biggest busts of 2022. At least he went out with a bang, putting up 15.8 fantasy points on Saturday to close out the season with his best performance.
With RBs JK Dobbins being saved for the playoffs and Gus Edwards not being risked much, the Ravens gave the ball to Kenyan Drake 18 times for a total of 79 yards and a score. His 14.9 fantasy points put him among the week’s top RBs.
