NFL Week 18 best bets: FrontPageBets looks at top 3 wagers to watch in Sunday's games

Panthers Buccaneers Football

Tampa Bay wide receiver Mike Evans and the Buccaneers clinched the NFC South title with a win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 17.

While there’s a lot on the line during the final week of the regular season for a handful of teams still trying to make the playoffs, other games have no real consequence – except for final records and, of course, at the sportsbook.

There are no Thursday Night or Monday Night Football games in the last week, meaning two games will be played Saturday night and the rest on Sunday.

FrontPageBets takes a look at its three best bets for Sunday's Week 18 slate.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers money line vs. Atlanta Falcons (+160)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are fresh off clinching the NFC South and the No. 4 seed in the NFL playoffs. So their regular-season finale against the Atlanta Falcons really doesn’t mean anything in terms of postseason position.

But don’t tell that to future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady and the rest of the Bucs’ starters, who plan on playing in Atlanta.

Despite that, Tampa Bay (8-8) is still a 4-point underdog to the Falcons (6-10)

The Buccaneers beat Atlanta, 21-15 in Week 5, and have won the last two games. The Falcons have lost six out of their last eight.

New York Jets vs. Miami Dolphins under 38.5 total points (-110)

Scoring for the New York Jets lately has been an issue. In the last five games – all losses – the Jets are averaging 12 points.

The Miami Dolphins are also on a five-game losing streak and averaging 20.8 points during that stretch.

And with question marks at quarterback on both sides, don’t look for this one to be an offensive showcase.

Plus the Jets have the fourth-best scoring defense in the league, giving up just 19.1 points per game.

The Dolphins are allowing 24.6 points, while scoring 24.1 this season.

Miami, a 1-point favorite Sunday at home, can make the playoffs with a win and a New England Patriots loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Los Angeles Chargers +3 vs. Denver Broncos (-110)

The LA Chargers are one of the best teams in the NFL against the spread, sporting a 10-5-1 record.

In their last four games – all wins – they’ve gone 3-0-1 ATS, pushing with the Tennessee Titans in Week 15. Los Angeles is 4-1 as an away favorite.

The Denver Broncos have lost seven of their last eight games, and in that stretch have gone 4-4 against the spread.

Despite playing the Kansas City Chiefs tough last Sunday and only losing 27-24 when they were 12.5-point underdogs, the Broncos are a bad team.
