Suspect sought in stabbing of boy, 16, at Old Mill TTC station

Investigators need help identifying a suspect in a stabbing that saw a boy injured at a west end TTC station on Wednesday.

Toronto Police say officers responded to a stabbing at the Old Mill subway station, near Bloor St. W. and The Kingsway, around 4 p.m.

A 16-year-old boy entered a bus parked at the subway station and had a conversation with a man who then stabbed the boy multiple times, police say.

The boy suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The man is described as 20 to 25 years old, 5-foot-10, with black dreadlocks covering his forehead, and at the time he was wearing a blue face covering, a dark-coloured top with a distinct red logo running vertically on the front, and a dark hooded three-quarter-length winter jacket.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity or whereabouts is urged to call police at 416-808-2200 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
