The Jacksonville Jaguars have won four games in a row and can win the AFC South title by beating the Tennessee Titans on Saturday night in the Week 18 regular-season finale.
It’s pretty simple for both the Tennessee Titans and the Jacksonville Jaguars: Win and you’re in.
The two teams will face off Saturday night in Jacksonville for the regular-season finale with the AFC South title on the line. The winner not only grabs the division, but also earns the automatic playoff spot.
Of course, there are other ways the Jaguars (8-8) can get in:
- a tie with the Titans ...
- a loss vs. Titans AND losses by the Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers ...
Of course, winning is the most direct path. For Tennessee (7-9), it’s the only one.
Jacksonville won the teams’ first meeting, 36-22, on Dec. 11 in Nashville, Tenn.

Throw in the fact that star running back Derrick Henry didn’t play last week against the Dallas Cowboys because of a hip injury and his status for Saturday night’s game is unknown, as well as Joshua Dobbs making just his second start at quarterback, and it could be another long night for the Titans offensively .
